The weather is mild year round, encouraging enjoyment of the great outdoors; whether that means gardening, outdoor entertainment, horsemanship, star gazing or simply porch sitting. Granite Oaks is a perfect community for the active outdoorsperson, the hobbyist, auto enthusiast, RVer or for those seeking privacy and space. Granite Oaks offers access to the Yavapai Trail System which weaves through Arizona State Land. The varied trails offer opportunities for foot or horse.

Technicalities: The Granite Oaks roads are all paved and maintained by Yavapai County. Installed utilities include underground electricity, telephone and cable. Water is provided by the private Granite Oaks Water District. Garbage collection is provided by one of the Prescott area private companies and waste is handled by on-site septic systems. Technically in the Chino Valley School District, most Granite Oaks residents send their children to Prescott for school. Fire Protection is provided by the Central Yavapai Fire District.

Pricing: Homes range in price from the high $300,000’s to a Million Dollar Plus. Lots are priced from the high $100,000’s to low $400,000’s.

Location: Approximately 12 miles northwest from the Yavapai County Courtyard Square in the center of Prescott. With quick access to Pioneer Parkway & Outer Loop Road – exit out of town is readily at hand. A quick drive to town brings a multitude of shopping, service and entertainment options.

Directions: 5.7 miles northwest on Williamson Valley Road from the intersection of Pioneer Parkway and Williamson Valley Road – East on either Granite Oaks Drive or Bard Ranch Road.
